Dimitris Alithinos, Images are Born from my Dreams

Following his significant retrospective exhibition at the National Gallery of Contemporary Art in Athens and his lifetime achievment award by Association of Art Critics AICA Hellas, Dimitris Alithinos presents a solo exhibition of his worls at Alpha C.K. Art Gallery.
The exhibition showcases examples of the artist’s historic work from the 1980s and 1990s as well as a series of his most recent work.
Dimitris Alithinos was born in Athens in 1945 and is internationally recognized as one of the most significant contemporary Greek artists. He studied paiting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Athens and at the Academia di Belle Arti in Rome, and architecture at the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris. He prsented in work in many solo and group exhibtions worlwide and represented Greece in numerous significant art events including the Venice Biennale and the the Sao Paolo Biennale.
