Marina Vernicos, Up Above & Down Under

Alpha C. K. Art Gallery presents the solo exhibition of the well-known and renowned Greek photographer Marina Vernicos.
Marina Vernicos’ talent in photography is undeniable. She has been awarded, after all, several times, has done numerous exhibitions, has published books-albums and photographs-works adorning some large hotels and open in large private collections.
Marina Vernicos’ new work consists of a series of photographs of sea landscapes, which resulted from a purely internal process. Travelling in the seas of Greece depicts nature through its personal gaze. He presents it with fine lines lost on the horizon, in and out of the water, as he perceives it from a different perspective in each project.
Marina Vernikou was born in Athens. He studied Communications and Photography at Emerson College and Business Administration at Harvard Extension School. Since 2001 she has presented her works in solo and group exhibitions in Greece, Paris, Monaco, London and NewYork.
