Kostis Georgiou

Kostis Georgiou was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1956.

He studied painting and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Athens and at the Royal College of Fine Arts in London.

He has exhibited his work in over ninety solo exhibitions throughout the world including significant fine art galleries in Athens, Nicosia, Paris, Brussels, Shanghai, New York, Chicago, Vienna, and London.

His work is characterized by a personal expressionist form and bold colour palette through which the artist portrays his subject matter.
