The young Cypriot artist Christos Michaelides is exhibiting his work at Nicosia’s Alpha C.K. Art Gallery.
This is the artist’s first solo exhibition in Cyprus. In this exhibiting, the artist presents representative selection of paintings from his first two series of works in which the artist explores his range and limits of abstraction. His main interest is in the abstract landscape and translating reality into a geometric representation.
Christos Michaelides studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Athens and at the Slade School of Fine Arts in London. He has exhibited his work in various exhibitions in Greece, Austria and the UK.
The exhibition opens on 5 March and remains through the 19th of March 2014.
