Kostis Georgiou has selected Nicosia’s Alpha C.K. Art Gallery to show his latest series of paintings entitled Pixels.
In his latest work, the internationally acclaimed Greek artist, present paintings inspired by his personal experimentations and experiences over the past several years in which the artist exhibited solo shows in China, the United States and Belgium.
Following his solo exhibition at Alpha C.K. Art Gallery, the artist has a solo exhibitions scheduled at the Musee Angelt in France and the Benaki Museum in Athens.
Kostis Georgiou was born in 1956 in Thessaloniki. He studied painting at the Athens Academy of Fine Arts under professor Dimitris Mytaras. He has exhibited his work in over ninety solo exhibitions worldwide. He recently completed a tour of three Chinese contemporary art museums, the Suzhou Modern Art Museum, the Shaanxi Contemporary Museum and the Nigbo Modern Art Museum.
Kostis Georgiou’s exhibition Pixels opens at Alpha C.K. Art Gallery on 1st November and continues through 15th November 2013.
